Cuddles promise to you the Nanny
Cuddles understands how important it is for a Childcare Professional to be placed with a family that she feels 100% comfortable. With this in mind, Cuddles will not only interview you as a candidate, but also communicate and personally visit families in their own home (where applicable). This is to ensure that Cuddles knows as much as possible about each position, before you choose to go for an interview.
We realise that coming for an interview at a 'Nanny Agency' can sometimes be difficult. With this in mind, your interview can be held in a convenient location and at a time that doesn’t strictly fall into 'Office Hours'. For instance it may be possible to arrange an interview in the evening or on a weekend if enough notice is given.
We will endeavor to help you throughout the interview process. Following a successful placement, we will keep in close touch with you, initially with a follow-up visit or call.
How to become a Cuddles Childcare Professional:
- Minimum of 2 years full-time employment.
- Checkable references must support this.
- Passport or working visa allowing you to work in the UK.
- First Aid Certificate (current)
- Or pormise to complete one at employers request
- Criminal Records Bureau (CRB - Current)
Before being invited to meet a Cuddles Consultant we will have an informal telepone interview. You will then be invited to have an extensive one and one meeting with a Cuddles Consultant (allow 1 hr).
All Childcare professionals registering with Cuddles will be required to supply the following:
- 1 x Passport photo of themselves (recent)
- 2 x forms of ID (including a passport)
- Supply relevant Curriculum Vitae including childcare qualifications and/or relevant experience including reference contact details.
You will be registered with Cuddles once all relevant references and qualification checks have been completed and verified.

Cuddles Employment Contract Template
Cuddles will provide a template for a contract between you and your employer that stipulates the terms and conditions of employment. This contract should be signed and agreed prior to any engagement of service by both parties.
How to Interview a Cuddles Family
Once Cuddles finds what we think would be a great family, which suit your needs we will organise a convenient time for both parties to meet.
Once an interview is organised Cuddles will send you a copy of the 'Interviewing a Cuddles family'. This covers questions you may find helpful to ask.
